Robert Butler is a versatile Teacher, Facilitator and Guide with a strong background in English language teaching and a passion for guiding and mentoring individuals. With expertise in various teaching skills, Robert has lectured undergraduate students in English translation and literature, conducted Cambridge exam training for CPE, CAE, and FCE, and prepared students for the IELTS exam.
Robert holds various qualifications, including a Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, CELTYL, TESOL, Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work from the University of Wales and a BSc (Hons) in Sociology and Politics from the University of Plymouth.
Robert has held teaching positions at FCSH – Universidade Nova de Lisboa and the British Council in Lisbon, Porto, and Tunis. He has also worked in the U.K and Australia, teaching pre-sessional English courses.
Robert has been involved in various projects as an author, including books such as “Hidden Beaches,” “Beyond Lisbon,” and “Além Lisboa.” He has also served as a lead guide for Sintra Treks and conducted nature therapy hikes and nature fix programs for children in schools.
